I thought I heard somewhere that admission was free one day during the week. You just have to pay to park.

It is "free" wednesday, but you are supposed to make a donation. It is VERY crowded on Wednesdays. Some company's have discounts, do you know anyone who works for cablevision? I know they get a discount.

Also, if you have a bank of america card, you can get in free on the first weekend of every month :)

They were giving them out when I went to the Bodies Exhibit in the seaport back in April. I think those had an expiration date in July but I guess it means that Bronx Zoo coupons are available in some places.

not sure if they have them for the bronx zoo, but sometimes libraries have passes to places (I know many have them to LICM). Worth a call to find out.

If you go the first weekend of each month and have a bank of america card, it's free. You have to pay for individual exhibits though like the tram or Congo. But you still save $15 on admission. Each person has to have a BofA card though.

I went this past Saturday and used discount code AAASNE. I got the more expensive ticket which pretty much gives you access to everything for $20.25 (adult) and they are normally $27.

AAA gives 25% off if you purchase your tickets in advance online thru them. Otherwise the membership is WELL worth it and it pays for itself in a very short time b.c it includes admission to the NY aquarium, central park, queens and prospect park zoos as well as the bronx zoo.
