Are these people serious???
It's 11:53pm and the people next door to the house we live in are outside getting TRASHED! They have a table set up and are blocking the sidewalk, boozing it up in front of their kids (little ones). I only know this because I went out to walk to dog. On top of that the bigger kids are setting off firecrackers and have done so 3 times already!! My DD's room faces the front of the house and she woke up because of them!!! I mean seriously what the hell?? I called 311 and they considered it to be an emergency and put me through to 911. I hope the police come soon!!

Ugg! Our neighbors down the block are having a huge party right now too. They are blasting the music and its a wonder my DD is still asleep. Its only 10:20 here so they better knock it off soon

Have you guys looked for a new place to live? I have read several of your posts about noisy neighbors (I know how you feel, I grew up in queens!), but have you considered finding a more family friendly place to live?

Unfortunately we are not in a position financially to move, and the next move we make will be into something we own, no more apartments for us!
I've just decided to call 311 from now on, until they get the hint. How is it that this is a RESIDENTIAL area and these particular "people" seem to be the ONLY ones who go overboard with their music, noise, etc. It's amazing how they don't see they are the ONLY ones that do stuff like that. I'm sure they don't care, but unfortunately other people do and it's not acceptable at all. You want to drink...fine, but don't start yelling at the top of your lungs when you are drunk off your a&& and then decide it's ok to spark off fireworks when you feel like it as if you are the ONLY ones on the block. I swear they are such low lives..it's unreal.

Honestly it's just the houses that are next to ours. Unfortunately the owners rented out their homes and rented it to whoever. I'm sure if they saw how they were acting..then again..maybe not. It's a shame..I hate passing by them as well because they are either always cursing up a storm (kids included), smoking stuff other than cigs, and just being plain out loud and ridiculous. Just the other day one of the girls from another house was arguing/screaming/crying with some kid. Keep that inside..we don't need to hear that. THey just don't care. They are the ONLY people that act the way they do...everyone just looks at them.
