Are you ever afraid you will pick the wrong emoticion by mistake? Do you ever go back and check your posts?
Like if someone posts something sad, are you afraid that you will accidentally add this guy because he is below the teary face? Or are you afraid that you added to the wrong thread and you added a  to someone who does not deserve it. Or do you ever think that you just randomly added a face that you did not mean to? I go back and check my posts sometimes. I do other obsessive compulsive things but I wonder if this one is common.

I have MANY times added an emoticon that I did not intend to but caught it before I hit post. I have used  instead of  and  instead of

I go back and re-read my posts and I'll edit if I see a type-o, grammatical or spelling error (or use an ETA to further clarify something.) For whatever reason, I dislike using the preview function. 
I'm pretty conscious of my smilies though. I think a lot of people mistakenly use the " " in place of the " "

Yes, the  is right below the  and I use the a lot when someone posts something sad. I'm always so afraid I'm going to hit instead!!!

i defiantly go back and fix. after i hit the pray button if i go to hit it again it sometimes goes to the toast .. i dont think someone would be very happy if i sent that.

Yes. I always go back and change it. Just the other day I wanted to post and I almost ended up posting
