Are you getting a flu shot?
With my first pregnancy, my doctor insisted I get a flu shot. This time, my doctor (different one), told me that he strongly urges me to get one, but it's my choice.
I'm not crazy about the idea of getting one, but thinking maybe I should???

GET IT! It will protect your baby after they are born since they can not get the shot. The flu can be deadly to newborns!!!!!

I'll get the non preservative one in my 2nd trimester as my Drs have recommended. I got mine at cvs last pregnancy.

Ok, I can get on board with this. Where did you get it?
I had to hunt it down to be honest my OB doesn't do it and neither does my primary. My babies pediatrician will be my friends mom so I gave her a call- she only uses preservative free vaccines for all vaccines so she gave it to me, let me know if you want her number

Got the preservative free shot. My soon to be LO will be too young to get it this flu season so our whole family got it to protect ourselves and her.
Risks of not getting it are far worse than getting it.

I got it. My Dr. (who I trust) felt it was important, so I got it. Im also due the middle of January so I think its smart to get since the baby will be too young to get their own.

Your OB has the preservative-free one. So does CVS. Most places have that one, actually. I've found that the places that say they don't have it...don't actually know what it is.
