We didn't register for one and have no desire for one. I've heard too many horror stories about babies getting burned from this. IMO none of us had wipe warmers when we were little and we turned out fine.

Prob not. I feel like if I register for it, and we get it, I might do like the above pp and use it for a week or so. Baby will be born in June so I don't think it should be an issue.

I like it, but to be honest after about 6 months I didnt use it anymoe. My baby didnt seem to care!

No-for us they are a waste.
I never needed it with DD-the wipes never startled her or anything, she was fine.

I agree. I never had one with DS and he was fine. I am not getting one this time either

I heard it was a lifesaver for middle of the night diaper changes in the winter months.....baby can sleep right through if there's no startle factor???????? I registered for it, not sure that I'll use it.
DS always woke up during diaper changes, long before I took out the wipes.
I had a December baby. I didn't register for one and never saw the need for it. IMO, it's a waste.

The overall opinion from the moms I've asked is that they are a waste. One of my friends and I were just talking about it yesterday and she said she had gotten one and they actually made the wipes super wet (I guess the warmth created condensation or something). I know I am not registering for one or buying one. I think you are going to get opinions from both sides of the spectrum.
