Are you handling all legal changes after the baby is born?
DH is already talking about our unborn child's college fund. I was thinking about increasing our life insurance policies. We both don't have wills yet.
Do you do all this stuff after the baby is born or should we get started now?

We waited for the same reason. Plus the bank accounts are way easier to do once your DC has a SS#.

Do you have to prepare to get a SS# beforehand or is all the paperwork done at the hospital?
Gosh. So much to think about!

We waited. We started her college account right after we got her SS#. My DH is FINALLY signing up for life insurance through work once open enrollement hits in Jan.
We still need a will

Gosh. So much to think about!
The pre-registration paperwork should have an area that asks you if you want the hospital to apply for you.
