Are you using LinkedIn for business networking? Many are touting it as an absolute must for corporate job seekers. What has your experience been?

I was but canceled my account after a while because I had no use for it. Maybe it depends what industry you're in?

Yes and I highly recommend it.
Last year, an HR manager saw my profile through a mutual connection. She contacted me about a position she was recruiting for. I interviewed and actually got an offer. I wasn't actively looking, but went anyway to see what I was 'worth'. My performance review was coming up at my job, so I was able to negotiate a better package when I told them about the other offer.
