Are you supposed to buy the godparents gifts? If so...what did you get them?
I am not sure whether or not we should be buying gifts as thank yous for our godparents at the christening. If you did...what did you get them? Thanks!!

I bought my sons godmother a Tiffany engraved key chain...and his godfather got a "godfather" DVD set and t-shirt (hes a huge movie buff)

DH's family does small weddings for Christenings! (my family did backyard BBQs and carvel cake! Lol)
Anyway, that being said, DD's godfather got a David yurman cross, an her godmother got a David yurman bracelet.

We will not be able to afford it, but will probably get them something small at Christmas time.
I really don't think it is expected by the godparents.

I got them personalized godparent mugs with their name and ds name....
and a glass photo frame personalized.

We got each godparent a frame that said Godmother/Godfather and a $50 Amex gift card.

I got them a frame that was custom made with a sweet saying on it and DDs name. I also got each of them custom keychains that said Godmother and Godfather to DD (they had her name on them). They loved them.

For the godfather, We got him a silver bracelet.
For my DD's godmother, we got her this from Swarovski:
One of the godmother / one for DD.
