Are you taking extra calcium?
Anyone here told to take extra calcium? If so, what amt?

Yes, I bought supplements at Target, I take one each night. I think they are 400mg.

Did your dr suggest you do this? I forgot to ask my dr and wasn't sure. My prenatal has 200 mg of ca in it.

Yes, my ob told me at my 8wk visit. I don't know if its because of the twins though.
I am also on extra folic acid because there are two.

Oh maybe thats why he told me to take extra calcium. Does the lovenox stop the absorption of calcium?

With all the TUMS I'm popping in my mouth for heartburn, I'm sure I am getting PLENTY of calcium!

I am on lovenox too...which is why they recommended prenatals plus the extra calcium. Lovenox sometimes leads to osteoporosis, which is why they recommend the extra calcium

Yup. I take a 600mg pill everyday. My teeth are one of the few things I like about my body, and my mom told me that my brother and me sucked the calcium out of her when she was preggo with us, so I wanted to be sure that I do all that I can to keep my teeth in shape. I am not a big milk drinker so my OB said it was fine.
