Took her out last year when she was 2months old too!

Last year i think it was more for us to show her off.

This year she's so into looking at things, lights, people etc. So she's gonna have a blast living inside a cartoon! Chat Icon

From her point of view I can see how the world is going to transform for her and I think its awesome! They have a little area near by me that is a community lake and a lil park so we're going there so its safer and both Jim and I wont dress up this year so she can have an 'anchor' of reality and comfort.

She saw her daycare lady in a gypsy outfit this morning and looked a little confused and unsure. then as the woman spoke more and more AJ finally smiled and reached out to her. So cute!

My DC are 10 months, and we won't be going door to door. We are going to a Halloween Festival in Port Jeff and maybe the mall.
I don't see the point in TRT with a baby who can't eat the candy - b/c I will just wind up eating it instead. Chat Icon

Re: are you taking your one - ish year olds

This will be DDs first year trick or treating (she is 26 months, it is her 3rd Halloween).

Last year, we setup camp out front. She wore her costume and helped give out candy and played with her outside toys. We had a great time.

The first year, she was 2 months old and we didn't do anything on Halloween except put her to bed. We did put her in her costume and took her to a pumpkin patch for pictures a couple days before.

DS is 18 months and we're taking him trick-or-treating for the first time. We didn't take him when he was 6 months old, but he dress up for his Halloween parade at daycare. DD (6 weeks) is going to dress up for DS's Halloween parade today and join her big brother for trick-or-treating tomorrow!
