Area rugs?
So I need to purchase an area rug! I'm looking for a larger size- 9x12 but could do 7x10. I'm looking for something simple yet very durable and good quality. I have been seeing them for roughly $600 in this size range. Is this expensive or should I keep looking? I have seen a few for less money on wayfair but I've never purchased from them and just not sure what to think!? Any help with area rugs!?!?

Re: Area rugs?
I know this might be far for you, but in flemington, nj there is the flemington department store. I bought an 8x11 area rug in wool. With the pad was $180.

Area rugs?
Thank you!! I went to home goods in stony brook and found one but it was over $550 but I do like it! I also checked Montauk rug and carpet on 110 they had ok prices and I found a few for $330. I may check this Flemington department store- I see they have a website! By the time I get to jersey it will likely cost me just as much with gas and tolls! Thanks for the recommendations!

Re: Area rugs?
We have an 8'x10' in our bedroom and in our living room both from Bed Bath & Beyond and both are great quality! I do think they were a bit pricey, but we used a 20% off coupon for both and saved over $100 on each rug. I'd say anywhere from $500-900 is standard pricing for a rug that size.
HomeGoods is hit or miss but I've seen some nice rugs at the one in RVC - I'm there pretty often and their selection is always changing.

Area rugs?
I buy all my area rugs from Bobs --- not a fan of their furniture quality, but their rugs have held up great for me (including lots of vacuuming, dogs, professional carpet cleaning, etc.) They come in 2 sizes -- 5 x 7 ($199) and 7 x 9 ($399). They usually order them and you can pick it up/have it delivered in 2-3 days. They have about 25 in the store to choose from and they are laid out throughout the store with the furniture so you can see what it would look like in a "room".

Re: Area rugs?
At Marine Carpet in East Northport you can choose any carpet they have and order whatever size area rug. Its not super cheap but not crazy expensive (depending on what you pick) and you can get exactly what you want (and they have a huge selection of patterns and styles to choose from)
