ARGH!!!!!!!! I hate bees, wasps, yellow jackets and anything associated with them!

Stupid, f*@%ing wasps and yellow jackets.

So, last week, we called in an exterminating company to take care of finding some nests since we were finding wasps in our house in the bathroom (through the vent) and master bedroom. So, they come in last Wednesday and refuse to go in the attic b/c they don't fit. Mind you, they're also not wearing any protective gear at all, either, so he just sprays in the air and then walks around the perimeter of the house spraying in areas he saw the wasps. He said they were just wasps and we should be lucky that they aren't yellow jackets!

So, we call them back on Monday and the earliest they can give us is Wednesday (yesterday) btw 2-4pm. They don't show until 6:30pm. They find a yellow jacket nest btw the wall of our MB and the roof, and spray it, pissing them off, and now you can hear them in the wall, and they're swarming outside and going back inside the house. Needless to say, they didn't take care of the nest very well.

So, now I've resorted to paying Arrow Exterminating to come in this evening to take care of the problem. Yes, they're $$$, they said they wear protective gear, will go into the attic, no matter the size, and take down every nest they find and spray down the areas.

Please pray that they get everything and I can sleep upstairs in my house again. I miss my bed!!!!!!!!!

Betsy that is horrible! Good Luck with this situation. I wouldn't be very happy either. I hope the new extermiator solves your problem....to bad you have to pay more money.

Sorry this happened!
I remember a long time ago my the cablevison people were at my parents house, and they were installing a cable through the wall, and there was a bees nest in there, the poor lady from cablevisoin got stung all over and the bees swarmed into the house!!!
They find their way into the strangest places.

Thanks girls. These guys can get stung all they want - they have the protective gear. I'm the one semi-allergic.

OMG Betsy that is horrible! I hope that Arrow does the job and gets rid of your pests!

Good luck! I'm sure that since they wear protective gear and are willing to go anywhere, they will be able to get rid of them for good!

So, Arrow came yesterday and 3 hours early. I can deal with early - I like promptness!!!!!

I explained all the issues we were having an dhe said he'd cut us some slack on the cost to help us out.

He went into the attic, he walked around the roofs and sprayed everywhere, he went to the bedroom, drilled holes into the wall, sprayed the nests in there, and then patched the entire wall back up, went outside to kill them as they were flying out, etc.

He did a really great job and we're happy. We still slept downstairs last night due to the heat and we could hear them in the wall dying - a few got out from our baseboard heat, so he placed sticky pads down there to catch them.

We only saw one flying around this morning by the area where the nest is, and the noise in the wall is getting lower and lower.

So, we'll give it the 2 nights the guy said and if we still hear any noise, he said to call hm back and he'll make a few more holes to put the spray in.

Keep an eye on Daisy, Vito decided to try and eat a spider as it was walking across the floor. I hope they're all gone soon.
