ARGH!!!!!! Why do I look things up on the internet?
So I decided to start my day by looking up my 'condition' on the internet. Tell me to stop doing this!!! It's telling me bad things about the baby. I am near the end and now I'm finding out the baby might have a problem?!?!?!?! DAMN THE INTERNET!!!! DAMN IT TO HELL!!!!!

I do this to and my DR. has forbidden me to use google. She says all that information does is scare women!
When I started bleeding at 27 weeks (I had a burst blood vessel) I had all the symptoms of an abrupted placenta - I nearly had a heart attack!!!! It turned out to be a relatively minor thing - stay off the Internet!!!

Kelly I know you're on bedrest - but searching out medical conditions on the net is NOT following doctor's orders to reduce stress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Now knock it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean - the internet is EVIL. Way too much information out there to get us all stressed out. Try to relax and stay away from google. Trying to put a positive spin on it, at least this will give you some questions to ask your doctor. Good luck!

I do it, too but then I think of all the inaccurate information that my clients get online, sometimes the exact opposite of the truth. It's not really useful a lot of the time.

stop it!!! i do the same thing - i think most of the time it is exaggerated info. I know you're on bedrest because you're leaking fluid right??? did i miss another post? are you OK?

I am not leaking fluid. I have too much amniotic fluid, which can cause a bunch of problems in the next few weeks, including pre-term labor. I posted about my brontosaurus in another post.

When I was hospitalized at 21 weeks and it turned out I had a cervical polyp the FIRST thing my OB told me was "do NOT google it!" and I find that to be the truth with pregnancy.
Step away from Google. NOW

its funny b/c when my dr told me about my placenta praevia, he told me stay off the internet and the books. you'll make yourself nuts.
