"army game" for 6 y/o boy
So, I picked a tag off of the tree at my son's school for gifts for needy children. I am trying to find an "army game" for a 6 year old boy. Any suggestions? (I thought it said "any game" when I took it...then later I realized it says "army game" and now I am clueless).
I thought of Stratego, Risk or Battleship. But Stratego is 8+, Risk is 10+, and Battleship is 7+ and is really Navy, not Army.
Any ideas? TIA!

Do you think maybe the word "game" is used loosely, and you could get a military play set with army guys/figures he could play with? I think that would be more age appropriate... I have a just-turned 6 year old DS who loves games, but I don't think he would get the concepts or strategy of something like Risk or Stratego.
Maybe something like this?

Battleship is not really rated correctly, IMHO, unless it has more to do with the small pieces. My son played it in pre-K.
Can you do some sort of dress up thing? Is GI Joe still around?

My son played battleship and stratego at 6 with no issues (probably even at 5 - he's a board game junky!). He even played risk but that needs more time to develop strategy. He plays them all regularly and he just turned 7 over the summer.
