Around the world tickets
Dh and I are planning to go traveling for 1 month this summer. We would like to go to Europe, S. America, maybe Australia. Has anyone used the "around the world" tickets? Any recommendations?
TIA

Re: Around the world tickets
I know! It's actually pretty neat, you basically click on which countries you like to visit and in what order, and it generates a flight plan for you.
I'm a teacher and DH is back in school so we are both off in the summer. He did some traveling before he met me but it's definitely something we want to do before we have kids.

Re: Around the world tickets
Airtreks
Airbrokers
I made inquiries with both for a complicated flight schedule and here's what I found out:
- I could get better prices on my own, for flights that were better for my needs.
- They have access to airlines and flights not available (or just not visible) to me
So there's pros and cons, the main one being that if there is a screw up, a delay, cancelation, etc, I'm going to have to fix it myself.
Good luck!

Re: Around the world tickets
Haven't used around the world ticket but have heard very good things about it. It will be worth it if you go to Australia. If you need any help with Australia info ask me- I live in Sydney.
