I'm participating in the Arthritis Walk again this year. I have walked in the last few years and had wonderful experiences.

My aunt suffers from rheumatoid arthritis which is an awful debilitating disease. Arthritis is a serious and sometimes deadly disease. Today, 1 in 5 people suffer from the pain of arthritis. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) projects that by the year 2030, 67 million people in the U.S. or 1 in 4 adults, will live with arthritis.

New this year, the Arthritis Foundation has created a national movement called Let's Move Together that encourages people to move to prevent or treat arthritis. You can help me join the movement by committing to donate to the 2009 Arthritis Walk. Together, we can help accomplish the Arthritis Foundation's vision for a world free from arthritis pain.
