Yeah they're talking about The Sneaky Chef which came out about 6mths before Seinfeld's book. They both have the same concept with the puree veggies. Frankly I'm willing to try them both if it works for DD. I know for me personally I had never heard of the other book until Jessica Seinfeld promoted her book on Oprah so I wonder if it boosted sales for the sneaky chef book

Jessica's Seinfeld's book got more attention cause she has better advertising/publicity and she's jerry's wife.
Getting on oprah's show is a goldmine for anything. You can pay enough for the marketing/advertising just 1 hour on her show can do for anyone, especially if your product/book hits her demographic audience.
I feel bad for the Sneaky chef, she's just a regular mom who published a book, not a celebrity. I saw her on the Today show awhile back.

I read the article this morning.. I just hope that the other book now gets more traffic and sales for her book because Jessica sure doesn't need it!!!! What bugs me the most is that the woman who wrote the other book really probably put her heart and soul and worked very hard writing it... I am sure Jessica had someone do it for her...
The article also hits home for me since my DH just finished writing his first "how to book" and it will be ready for the public ( Amazon, B &N) to buy as of mid January... I am very proud of his accomplishment but if this would happen to him, I would definately be livid and she has every right to complain...

I don't think sneaking veggies in kid's foods in a new idea.
I'm sure Jessica Seifeld's book wasn't done in six months. They're going to have a hard time proving she stole the idea.
