Aruba - Transportation Question
Do you recommend renting a car? We just found out that the ride from the airport to the hotel is kind of a hike and were looking into renting a car while we're there (we're leaving on Friday).

we rented a car and it was great not having to wait to catch a cab. Its really not hard driving around the island....once you get the hang of it.

I would rent a car. I know my parents always use this really cheap, great car rental place if you want the name let me know.

We didn't rent one and it was fine for us. We had no problems getting a cab to take us places.

we stayed on palm beach and were within walking distance to many things so we didn't need a car. we took a cab the few times we went to restaurants, etc further away. we did rent a car for 1 day to explore the island. it would have been a waste of $ any longer than that.

We rented a car so we could drive around and stop where we liked to snorkel. I suggest it.
