aruba review!
DH and i just went to Aruba as a last minute trip.. we ended up getting a room at the Divi Village.
Divi Village... alot better than i thought it would be actually.. the reviews on this place were not so good.. the beach in my opinion was beautiful and bigger than the beaches surrounding the high rise hotels.. but there was only really one restaurant unless you wanted to walk over to the sister resorts. and the pool area was VERY small. Also, inside the room although very clean it was not very pretty to look at! But all in all we spent VERy little time in the room so we didn't care
We went on the island quadding trip which was awesome .. we had so much fun and saw some beautiful places along the way
we went on the tatoo cruise which i wouldn't recommend.. it was cheap drinks, and cheesy dj.. i felt like i was at a college party.
we rented a car and drove around the island.. it was beautiful and very easy to get around.
we ate at the flying fishbone, el gaucho and madame jeanettes.. all which were soooo good. but madame jeanettes was by far the best food in aruba!
we also visited baby beach which was beautiful!! Image Attachment(s):

Thanks for the review. Glad you had a good time. I am going to Aruba in 2 weeks. We tried to get reservations for madam jeanettes but they will be closed when we are there (they are on vacation). We did get reservations for El Gaucho.

great pics and great review. I have one question for you, though...how the heck does your hair look so great during all of your outside dinners?  I have so many pics of me with my hair in a ponytail or all windblown!! My one complaint about Aruba is that my hair never looks good, lol

lol thanks... my hair was blowing endlessly! i usually had it tucked behind my ears i guess i just got lucky in the pics!!!

Looks like a great trip! DH and I went 2 years ago the week before Memorial Day and it was an awesome time to go. We stayed at the Tamarijn and it wasn't crowded at all and we were able to get into the Flying fishbone with no problems.

They have a lot of iguanas but they also eat them so it keeps down the population somewhat.
