what would you prefer as an appetizer

fresh melon slices
or
french onion soup???

Hmmm... that is a hard one because I love both. I guess it would depend on the weather. If it is closer to spring or summer I would want the melon. If it were in the fall or winter I would want the soup. Chat Icon

i know a lot of people that don't like french onion soup. i think most would prefer melon.

Sit-down dinner or cocktail party?

For a sit-down I'd enjoy soup, but if it's cocktail, obviously fruit's the way to go.

as a vegetarian, i would prefer the melon b/c i wouldn't have to worry about the kind of broth or just be sitting there while everone else eats.

Not a fan of French Onion, so I'd skip the appetizer if that was it. I would go for the melon.
