As frustrated as I get with my Mom on a daily basis...

...I can't deny the fact that I'd be lost without her right now.

She's a slob. She leaves little pieces of paper all over the house with recipes she saw on tv scribbled on them. She can't ever seem to remember to put the butter away after her morning toast, and she doesn't seem to realize that DH and I need "alone" time in our own house.

But without her, I'd be completely up sh**'s creek. I have been SO sick with this kidney infection for almost 2 weeks, running fevers as high as 103.8 every single day. When the baby wakes up in the morning, she wakes up with her and gives her her morning bottle.

Today I was SO out of it, I slept until 1pm and she knew that I needed it. She took care of DD all day today until 6:30 pm when DH was finally done with work. I was still passed out on the bed upstairs.

Sure, she drives me absolutely nuts, but I'm so thankful that I have her here right now.

Im glad you realize how blessed you are. I'd give anything to have one of my mother's Breathe Right strips stuck to the bottom of my sock because she used to leave a trail of them all over the house. Not a day goes by when I wish she could have known Abby.
