As if things couldn't get worse...

it seems as if Emily has a cold. She woke up at 10 hysterical and her nose was all clogged up --- and she's coughing really bad.

I am SO SO SO SO tired right now and really need tosleep but she won't go back to sleep.

i gave her tylenol and children's dimetapp when she woke up since her nose was all clogged up but she's still awake --- i tried laying her in her crib and she just cried === i think when she lays down she starts coughing more. i tried having her lay in the bed with me but she just got excited (she loves being in our bedroom) and wouldn't go to sleep.

can you elevate the crib mattress by putting blankets underneath the mattresss at the top of the bed. maybe she feels uncomfortable lying flat. also do you have a vicks humidifier?

will she stay on that side though? she normally moves ALl over in the middle of the night...

it's worth a try. i think if it makes her more comfortable she might stay there
