As I've been worried about transitioning to the bid kid bed...
Guess who's home napping in it right now?  We got his furniture on Saturday but have just been showing it to him but have been waiting to put him in there (bc I've been nervous about it).... well, evidently he told my nanny today he wanted to sleep in there! She said she went to set up the video monitor, turned around and he was out cold. I'm a little sad I wasnt the one there to do it but so happy that he likes it. I really hope tonight goes as smoothly!

I understand your feelings! I just went through the same this weekend.
Before bedtime, we set up some guidelines for DD - no toys in bed (just stuffies), and she needs to stay in bed once she gets in until it's morning. In the morning, she can get out & come to us.
She was so excited to be in her Big Girl bed that she's been sleeping soundly. She also loves the sheet set she picked out - I think that helps, too.
I'm feeling so much more at ease with this now. You'll get there!
