as promised....here's our nursery so far......
I taped up the floor, did the two purples on sat, yesterday dh did the ceiling and then we spent forever taping up the walls to do the trim - but finally were able to work together and finish it up....
its still empty except for the tools and stuff we stored (don't look into the closet too closely - its all junk!)
a little background on the room, too....dh and his friend worked their buns off in it....we divided our old guest rm into two rooms (slightly smaller but ok for a baby and a guest rm still!) and built the wall you see with the dr in it- plus they put down a wood floor in there (we are getting a round carpet in there too!) and had to add another a/c register, another heating vent (old ones are on the other side of the wall now) a door to the other room (we also put in one that connects from our office but figured by putting one in the baby's room if i want to lay and nurse her in there i can!), a telephone jack in the guest room, all the electrical, molding and all kinds of other stuff....but it paid off and we are almost done - just need to add outlet covers and baby stuff!
