As your DS grew out of the baby items, what did you do with them?
I am undecided about whether to save everything for #2 or just keep certain things.
What did you do with the bottles, infant tub, play mat, bouncy seat, etc.?
Right now I saved everything and put them in contractor bags since we dont have boxes for most of the stuff but it is just getting to be so much.

Same here. I don't know what to do. I decided I am going to keep everything for #2 and then give it away after that. But in the meantime I have no clue where it will all go.

Well, we are done, so DS' clothes and the snugride and some other things are going to my SIL for her new baby.
The rest of the stuff is going to go to a girl I work with who is pregnant.
Anything else I guess I will donate.
I don't like clutter

Most of the clothes I am saving for #2 - and watch, I'll have a girl!!!
The stuff I'm not sentimental about I give away - either to a mom who may need it, or to Cailen's daycare since they have a lot of low income and foster kids who come in dirty clothing and have nothing to change into if they poop thru the clothes they have....

Now that I am done, I give everything away in this order: Friends/family, sell, donate. Or if it's not of use to anyone, throw out. I never kept bottles or binkies between kids but everything else I did. In plastic bins or for bigger things, big black bags like you are doing. It's better than the boxes IMO. I have a bugphobia so I pictures spiders on anything that is not sealed.

I'm going to save everything. As DD grows out of clothes I'm putting them in storage bins and putting a label on them for size and putting them in the attic. I plan on saving mostly everything else too.

Re: As your DS grew out of the baby items, what did you do with them?
Well, I gave DSs snugride away to my cleaning woman's sister. I am saving DSs clothing. My parents said they would put DSs swing in thier garage. I figure that it will get used by someone in the family or us if we are blessed with another child. We borrowed the exersaucer from a friend with twins, so once he outgrows it we will give it back. We will store his other toys for another child. I think once we are done having children, then I would either give it to family/friends that are pg or donate it. As a last resort I would throw it away.

Re: As your DS grew out of the baby items, what did you do with them?
Bottles I threw out, playmat I saved, swing and other gear I saved. Tub I tossed in the garbage. Clothes I saved. I gave away some stuff, but not really much. It's hard to store a lot, but when I think of having to buy it all again, I find the space to store it instead. But things like bottles and bath tubs, I found gross to save. Plus, they're not really all that expensive to buy.

This is what I did. My SIL and me were pg the same time the second time around and she had a boy so I gave her most of the clothes and then gave clothes to 2 other families since I didn't need it anymore.

Re: As your DS grew out of the baby items, what did you do with them?
Packing them away, and hoping I'll have someone to pass them along to soon. Both my sister and my cousin are trying to get pregnant, so I'll keep it awhile for them.
Same for the gear.

Keeping it all upstairs in our spare bedrooms if we have #2.
Afterwards, I will sell all the big items. bassinet, stroller, etc.... and get rid of the rest (donate, etc..).

Re: As your DS grew out of the baby items, what did you do with them?
I'm saving most everything. My good friend just has a biy so I'm passing on some clothing, but saving quite a bit of it. Some of it I love too much to pass on, some of it is gender neutral enough if we have a girl next.
I'm a terrible pack rat anyway

Re: As your DS grew out of the baby items, what did you do with them?
I have no idea. I think im going to try and pack away everything for #2, but im soo limited with space. Im going to help my father clean out his attic, so hopefully that will make some room. i saved most of the original boxes.

Re: As your DS grew out of the baby items, what did you do with them?
I only keep clothes that I love and are in good condition. PJs, onesies, towels, socks I get rid of. If stuff is in good condition and I don't want it I donate it.
Playmat, bathtub, bouncy seat I got rid of and will get new for my next child.
I kept the infant car seat, swing, glider, jumperoo, pack and play and some toys.
