Asking for a different person...
So, let's say you get a haircut, or get your nails done, or have a personal training session, or whatever....
And your not thrilled with the person's service, but you still want to go to the same place.
What do you do? How do you ask for someone new without getting the original person in trouble or offending them?

go on their day off! i've done it many times
eta: after about 6 months, I didn't care what day I went...I even saw my original stylist and she waved to me. I really wasn't happy with her cut - she's more of a color specialist and she's always busy, so i don't think she was offended.

My DH tried out everyone at a salon untill he found the one he liked. He could care less about someone's feelings when it comes to his hair or whatever.
