Asking for a friend- anyone's dr. find a cyst on baby's heart valve during pregnancy?

One of my good friends is 16 weeks pregnant. When she went for her regular OB visit this week, they found that the baby's heartrate was abnormally slow and the heart was skipping beats. He sent her to a fetal cardiologist, who discovered a cyst on one of the valves of the baby's heart. At this point, they said they can't tell how bad it is or anything. They said it could get better or it could get worse. She has to see the cardiologist every week so they can monitor it and track any changes.
Of course, my friend is a nervous wreck over this. Did anyone experience this during pregnancy? If so, would you mind sharing your stories with me (good or bad)? Feel free to FM. TIA

I'm sorry I don't have any advice. They saw a white spot on DD's heart at our Anatomy Scan and sent us for a Level 2 with a perinatologist, but they said it was just a soft marker for a genetic abnormality and not anything to do with DD's heart. DD was born perfectly healthy and without any abnormality.

That sounds terrifying and I will pray for your friend and their baby. I hope they are able to help, however they can.

Thank you for the prayers! I am praying so hard for them too. I can't imagine how terrifying it must be
