At 3 and 1/2 months, should he be rolling over?

Just wondering...I'm getting a little worried that he hasn't started yet.

Seems a little early. Both my kids didn't roll over until 5 and 6 months!

DD didn't roll until almost 5 months, I believe 3 1/2 is very early.

That is kind of early. Molly has been rolling over consistently for about two weeks now and she is 4 1/2 months

I wouldn't worry!

Every child develops at their own pace and you can't really compare. I believe my DD rolled from stomach to back around 3 months and then rolled the other way around 4months. I know my best friends son is almost 5 months and doesn't roll at all. Don't worry he'll get there!

Do you mean from back to belly? My DS started rolling back to belly at 3 months old. My DD didn't roll from back to belly untill 4 1/2 months old. I thought she was behind but she ended up sitting by 5 months and crawling and standing up by 6 months.

Gianna didn't roll until 4-5 months and didn't roll both ways until 6-7 months.

Some do, think most dont start until 4, 5 months or later.
Liam has done it on occassion but at 7 months, he has not done it on a consistent basis. Meaning - I've seen him roll from tummy to back a few times and for the past 4 nights he's rolled from back to side (but not tummy) at night. So do not worry, I worried a lot when he turned 6 mnths old and dr. said no worries, since I have seen him do it, that means he CAN do it, he just prefers NOT to!

My dd is five month. She has only done it twice. That was about a month ago and hasn't happened since.
