At how many weeks can the baby hear you...
and your surroundings?
I sing and talk to my baby all the time not even knowing it can hear me.

im going into my 28th week, and the books are saying that she can now recognize my voice... prior to that, it's all mumbles that they can't distinguish... or so i've read

I started week 22 last week and either BabyCenter.com or WhatToExpect.com said this about week 22: "Your baby can now hear your conversations more clearly than before! When you talk, read, or sing, expect her to hear you. Studies have found that newborns will suck more vigorously when read to from a book they heard frequently in utero."

I would say 28 weeks for me-when I would have my NST whenever Dh would enter the room and say something DD heart rate would go up At first I said NO WAY but the nurses confirmed that it does happen-they can hear.
