Is it okay to use the My Little Lamb as his "bed"? He seems to only be interested in sleeping in there with the lowest setting swing.

Of course, we're in the room with him.

My DS napped in there every day...that's the only way he'd fall asleep throughout the day. He never slept in there all night, but I would have let him if that was the only place he'd sleep.

My dd napped in the swing during the day, and there were times @ night that I used it to get her to fall asleep. I'd try to move her and sometimes I'd be successful & sometimes she'd wake up...my ped said it was ok to sleep in, just not to let them sleep in it all day.

It's fine, but definitely keep trying to move him to the bassinet or crib once he's asleep. It'll help you down the road..........

Most people say it is fine but I like to start things out making it easier for myself down the road so DD only slept in her crib at night and in her pack and play or bassinet during the day. I like to start good sleep habits early and not have to make big changes later on!

DS slept in that swing for all naps and night sleep until he was 8 months old when we were able to finally transition him to the crib. It was godsend in the beginning but it was rough towards the end because he was getting big. The transition to the crib was difficult though. It all works out in the end and that is all that matters. Good luck!
