My dr told me after 3 months....we didn't start until 5 months though

My Dr. said 6 months, but if a baby is going to be in the sun earlier than that, better to wear sunblock than not. Just give them a bath afterwards to wash it off.

I wonder why they can't wear it before that. My doctor said the same thing 6 months but I never asked him why

my doctor told me on Friday that I should put it on DS and he is 5 months old - I questioned him about it and he said that he only discourages it for a baby up to 8 weeks. he said to get coppertone water babies brand
