At what Age did you put DC in a Walker
DD is 6 months it that too early?

I was reading this online too, but I also read the exersaucer is not safe either I have both but I only put her in the exersaucer...thanks

Ditto. I have heard such negative things. There just isn't a need for it. Our dr was against them. I know they have been banned in Canada for safety reasons.

My DD was in it by 6 months. My DS I put in at 5 months. He doesn't stay in as long as she did but moved pretty quickly early on! As long as you safe proof your house from them bumping into something and causing it to fall on them, and stairs obviusly, keep an eye on your DC I think it's fine.

DS loved loved loved his walker. I think we started around 5 months. Once he was in it within a few weeks he had master walking, running going backwards etc. But be careful once they are more mobile its time to really get down and baby proof. Once DS got the hang of the walker he was in the dog bowl, taking things off the table etc.
We have a ranch so there was no stair falling to worry about.
He was so so about the exersaucer but used to squeal with delight about the walker!

I never used one - both baby bargains didn't recommend them (and mentioned that they are banned in Canada) and my ped repeatedly asked that we not use one (so we never bought one).
