At what age do you start potty training?
Yes, I am already tired of the diapers.
Any difference between boys and girls?

Re: At what age do you start potty training?
I hear girls train faster than boys. In that case, my DD should be training soon! My son was on his way at 2.5, and my DD is now almost 26 months. She gets it, she's just not going for it!

Re: At what age do you start potty training?
DD started telling me when she was going at 15 months and went on the potty a few times. Now she'll be 20 months in a few days and "papa" got her a training potty and she goes on it once a day successfully. She wants to wear her Elmo undies so bad, but she's totally not completely ready yet. I hope to have her fully trained by 24 months.

Re: At what age do you start potty training?
We started Elimination communication (EC) at 7 months with DD it's not the same as potty training , but very close and it helps kids potty train faster . So now at almost 12 months when she sees her potty sitting there she starts pulling on her diaper and trying to take it off, so I take it off for her put her on it and she does her business (pee and sometimes even poop) and she loooves it.lol . She still uses diapers and does everything in them most of the time and I am by no mean forcing her or rushing her to start potty training, but I think she 'll be ready for real potty training in few months.

Re: At what age do you start potty training?
My DS is 26 months. I'm probably going to start around 2 1/2. My DS #1 was tt'd at 3 and my DD practically trained herself at 2 1/4 yrs old. So in my experience, girls do train quicker. I do put my DS on the toilet sometimes but I'm not in a rush this time for some reason. LOL with my oldest I tried with him for a good 8 months or so...he just wasn't ready bc when he did train it was on his own terms in his own time.

Re: At what age do you start potty training?
ds has a potty and has gone on it several times. Some days he kicks it across the room. I'm not pushing it and we'll do it at his pace. But we did start.

Re: At what age do you start potty training?
I started putting DS on the potty around 13 months. He was going regulalry by 17 months. He refuses to use the potty at day-care, so he's not totally potty trained yet, but he does pretty well and it sure beats changing diapers.

Re: At what age do you start potty training?
My DS is 2 yrs, 4 months and he's been showing signs of readiness for a while now, but with my DD around I don't feel like I have the time I need to devote to it right now.
