At what Month/Week
Do ladies usually have their Shower?
I have some family out of state that will be visiting around Aug, but I am not due until mid Novemember... is that too early??? I figured to tell my mommy to plan it when they are here so they don't fly in again?
What are you ladies thinking... Too early???
Oh... its a 5 hour flight... and I know they would def come to the shower...

I have family that lives OOS also, so my mom & I decided to have it on 6/27, I am due 8/26....I will be 31 weeks

I think baby showers should be around 30 weeks.

Generally they are in the last two months, but I think special circumstances require special treatment.
I would probably do the shower in August while your family is here...otherwise, they may not be able to make the shower.
We, on the other hand, are having the shower late due to the fact that I'm on bedrest and DH's family won't be around until mid-summer.....so my shower is going to be around 34-36 weeks.

Had mine early at 29 weeks cause I was having pre term labor and about to do a bit stricter of a bedrest.
I say theres no SET time and do it when its right for you.

i was about 31-32 weeks when we had mine. it actually made it easier to move around and stuff and i was still exhausted at the end of the day. plus it gave me time to run around and do exchanges and returns without being too uncomfortable.

I'm 30 weeks 1 day and no shower yet. I think with your situation, having it in August would be totally fine and very considerate of your OOS family.

With DS I was due March 30 - my shower was February 2. It was good timing - it allowed me enough time to return/get the stuff I didn't get, and I wasn't too wiped out from the shower.
