Harrah's has a new tropical pool area that sounds NICE! It is climate controlled with a big pool, hot tubs, cabanas, etc. Some one I know went there for a mini moon and came home raving about it.

Well, I DON'T recommend the Trump Taj Mahal.

The bed was so hard, I felt like I was sleeping on a cardboard box! Chat Icon

It also looked like an older hotel and needed some updating.

We are goin next month to AC...

I wouldn't recommend the Tropicana....heard some bad things....they let go 600 people, bed bugs, and other not so nice stuff.
We booked Ceasars.

BORGATA!!! I would not stay anywhere else in AC. That is the closest to a Vegas Hotel!

I was there back in November. It was soooo nice. When you are booking make sure to ask for the newer/recently updated rooms. They are really nice and for the price you can't beat it!

Re: Atlantic City

Borgata all the way!!! I have stayed at most big hotels in AC and none compare to the Borgata which is in a different class than the others.....

Harrah's has the niceset pool right now (but only until the Borgata opens its Water Club hotel which will have 5 pools!!!!), the rooms at Harrah's are not nice (even the renovated ones)...so stick with Borgata!!! they also have the best poker room in AC and table games....

I am not sure this is the one in AC. We went and it was totally renovated and there was soo much staff. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We're staying at the Tropicana for the first time in March. Travelzoo had a great special - room, show tickets and breakfast for $69.
