Atlantic City... anyone?
Has anyone been to Atlantic City and would recommend a hotel on the boardwalk.

We've been several times! We usually stay at Harrahs cause its free. im not a fan of the boardwalk area. I love the borgata. The tropicana just remodeled and is suppose to be really nice,

The Borgata...the Tropicana and the Showboat just underwent renovations...try them too.

I just stayed at the Borgata this weekend. It's on the marina side (about a 5-minute drive from the boardwalk). It's anice hotel - vegas-style .. a bit classier (decorated and people) than the other hotels in AC. But staying on the boardwalk has it's advantages too - convienence to jump from hotel to hotel, the boardwalk shops, etc, etc.
I usually stay at the Taj if I stay in a hotel with a casino or I stay at Atlantic Palace if i cannot get a discounted rate at a casino hotel. The Atlantic Palace is an all-suites hotel on the baordwalk right next to the Taj and showboat (?). It's realtively inexpensive and convienent to everything.
