Attic Fan
PJ Laura & Sons installed it yesterday and what a difference.
If your top floor is always hot and you have an attic, I highly recommend you doing this. It was made a big difference.
He also did some other work for us and was great!
I have to search to find out who recommended him to us, but in the interim, I will say thank you!

That's great! We have an attic fan that was already there when we bought the house and it is wonderful.
As for the recommendation I believe it was Tah-we-zah because she has recommended them a few times. I was actually searching for that thread yesterday because we need to upgrade our electric in our house. glad to hear you were happy with them.

I saw that on an HGTV show (House Detective) that there should be vents in the roof for each section of the attic and that it dramatically decreses energy costs.
Now I always check the roof when we look at homes with attics. Glad it worked out for you!

Last time I saw him I was 36 weeks pg. He hadn't seen me since the big house remodel and now I was as big as the house He was  at my size.
I've recommended him to so many people on this board. He is punctual, neat, knowledgeable and tells it like it is. He won't overcharge you for stuff you don't need. I would never use anyone else.
If you use him please FM me so I can tell him.
Now, when I need to change my diningroom fixture, I'm hoping he gives me a discount

Glad you're happy with the results!
Just had him over last week for a quote on some work we want done...still waiting for the quote  Hopefully he gets it to me today so I don't have to be a pest LOL

DH and I were talking about installing an attic fan yesterday. It really seems it makes a big difference, I think when we are done with the reno we will definitely look into it!

We have an attic fan that was here when we bought the house. It hasnt been working right.
Can you FM me Peter's info? I could use the # to a reliable handiman (is that what he is) or electrician
