Audio book suggestions?
Ive never listened to an audio book before but we are driving down to NC in a few weeks and I was thinking of getting some to listen to in the car to pass the time as sometimes I get sick of the radio. Anyone have any suggestions of a good one that DH & I would both enjoy?

Re: Book on tape suggestions?
50 Shades of Grey
but only if you are able to pull over a few times.
or you can go with the gilbert gottfried version.
What kind of books do you like?
I would be wary of listening to book on tape while driving so I'd stay away from something very involved or very visual.

Re: Audio book suggestions?
I dont have time to sit down and "read" a book so the only way I can feed my brain is to listen to audio books. I have found that any John Grisham book is enjoyable. If your husband doesnt mind Harry Potter, they are a joy to listen to since it is 1 guy doing about 40 different voices.

Re: Audio book suggestions?
I would go to the library with your DH and just scan the available audio books. Figure out what genre you both enjoy, and see what's available. You may not be able to find the book you want on CD. It may not be made in audio format, the library may not stock it at all, or it may be out to someone else.
I've listened to almost all of Stephen King's audio books, and now I'm going through Dean Koontz's books.

I loved Lisa Gardner's The Neighbor and all of her books. I just finished listening to Love you More.

Totally agree with the Harry Potter suggestion. The audiobooks are so entertaining!
