Yeah, it's priced too high right now. she'll learn and drop the price some, i am sure. i would be surprised if she got a buyer at this price.

i know. i can't figure out why they are so high!! if you notice (i can say this, it's my aunt!!) there are no pictures of the bedrooms. last time i was there, they were pretty messy!!! i am sure she has cleaned them up since, but... AND, her bathroom is AMAZING! but there is only one of them.
The basement needs work and the yard is tiny.
I remember she bought that house all on her own when she got divorced from my uncle. she had two toddlers then. She worked ALL the time to afford that house. thankfully, Grandma and Grandpa lived down the block and they took good care of the kids.
It's going to be a little sad...

Oh! About the kitchen... she won $10,000.00 towards a remodel in her home from putting her name in at the nassau coliseum home show!! how cool is that?
she put it towards the kitchen which was completely re-positioned. there used to be two openings into the kitchen, they closed off a wall for more counter space.
SHE LOVED the people that did the kitchen, in and out in 3 weeks. start to finish!

that's amazing! it's refreshing to see that a house in the same price range as ours is going that fast. i really hope we don't have to have the house up that long. i wanna be in a new home way before this baby comes!

i am actually beginning to think it's the real estate agent. she was used by my other aunt who had a backyard that was entirely (i mean ENTIRELY) built-in pool, split level (small!) in massapequa park. i thought it was going to be a tough sell, but she did it in about a month.
Both my aunts have used her to find them a home, successfully.
She is with Exit realty.
I think i am going to go back on the market with her after my contract is up (4/30/09)
