Autism Walk in Oct: Jones Beach
Does anyone here do it? Since I had the extra time, I just registered. What a fabulous site! When do you start getting donations? Do you wait til it gets closer?
I used to do the March of Dimes Walk and had so much fun. Looking forward to this one. How many miles is it?

I have done it for the last 2 years. I don't start asking for donations until sept. We usually raise between 1-2k and last year we had about 30 people walking with us. It's a lot of fun.

This is my first year doing it. We are also doing the NYC one. It should be fun. The woman from Long Island is great. Sent me a bunch of information. They have a kickoff reception on June 13th at the Crest Hollow Country Club. I just got my invite for me and a guest. So I would register a team now so you can go to the event and check it out. I don't plan on Fundraising until August/September either.

This is my first year doing it also. I already registered and started a team. So far even raised money. The closer it gets I will send it out to more people. But is anyone going to the Kickoff reception at Crest Hollow next month?
