Automatic kitty litter cleaning box???

Does anyone have a self cleaning kitty litter box?

I saw these on Amazon last night. I am really stretching for ideas for my dad for Christmas. But he has a cat and he also has emphysema. I know that cleaning out the box is a huge chore for him and I was wondering if these things truly work?

If so, which one do you have? Is it worth it? They are pretty pricey. TIA.

I have the littermate one. It's pretty good. Way better than cleaning it out myself. I don't think I could live without it at this point.

It's $120 in petco, but if you go to walmart, target I have seen it for $70.

He wouldn't have to scoop everyday anymore, just empty the container 1-2 a week.

This is the next one i want to try. I use crystal litter and it get sgreat reviews. But it's $$$$

I wouldn't recommend it, but I have a cat that is afraid of every little thing. If you do ahve a cat like that, it may not be worth it. I bought one, and after the first time she saw it move and make noise, she never went in it again.
