I had a feeling

I just know how, sometimes, these kinds of injuries can happen so seemingly "easily" -- and I had NO idea about any of this until Kenneth got hurt. So, it breaks my heart to think that if she just went to the ER as a precaution to get a scan - the outcome could have been SO different. I'm similar to her - I'm the "oh I'm fine - it's not big deal" kind of person when I get hurt... but, with the head, it can be so serious. I REALLY hope this raises awareness for people... that they hear about this story on the news and if they hit their head or fall - they go and check it out. God knows how many lives this will, in turn, save.

I guess you have to think of it like that - otherwise, it's just senseless.

ugh completely senseless and terrible... At least now people will know to get checked out right away! So sad it took something like this....

Very sad...you never know what life can bring, you just never know...that is why you have to live life to the fullest everyday.
