Ava had a temp of 100 before, is it terrible that...

I forgot to give her tylenol before she fell asleep?Chat Icon My mom is nagging me that I'm wrong for not waking her now and giving her tylenol, but I don't think a fever of 100 is all that much to worry about, especially at night. Now she's trying to make me feel like a bad mom.Chat Icon So I'm asking you, what should I do? Leave her or wake her to give her tylenol?

She might sleep right through the night without a problem. I'd just feel her head in a while to see if she's hotter.

I hope she's feeling better tomorrow. Chat Icon

100 is barely considered a fever. I say leave her be and you are not a bad mommyChat Icon

Thanks girls. I don't consider 100 to really be a temp. because her normal temperature is 99.6 recatally, so 100 is like nothing to me. But my mother is driving me nuts. I will not miss the guilt when we get the hell outta hereChat Icon
She's teething, so I'm pretty sure that's where the temp. is coming from and she was totally eager to go to bed.
Ok, so it's confirmed, tylenol if and when she wakes. THanks girls!Chat Icon

I probably would leave her, but also remember that a fever that starts out early usually rises later at night. That's what my doctor always says.

I wouldn't wake her to give tylenol for 100, let her sleep it off Chat Icon

I agree with everyone else. Unless she is obviously uncomfy or the fever is over 102 I generally don't medicate. I hope she feels better.

I'd let her sleep. I'd check on her before you go to sleep and feel her head to make sure it didn't get worse. She'll wake up and complain if it's bothering her.

Hope she feels betterChat Icon

and please you are so NOT a bad mom!!

I agree with everyone. Leave her. If she wakes up, then, I'd give it.

I hope she feels better soon. Don't let the guilt get you.Chat Icon
