Ava's been crying ALL afternoon....
and I was wondering, could it be the shots she got this past Wednesday? I don't know what else it could be. I mean, I think she's starting to teeth, but her gums aren't swollen yet, she's napped well, slept well, eaten well, etc. She doesn't appear to have gas and has no fever. I just don't know what it is and she's so miserable

Hmm, yes, we did start oatmeal a few days ago. I wonder if it could be that It's weird because she's laughing now, but then goes straight to crying. So odd.

It may be her system is still trying to get used to it. And maybe it feels a little weird to her. I don't know - I am pulling at strings. I hate that they can't just tell us

OMG Rachel I could have written this myself. Mikey has been the Jekyl & Hyde baby ALL afternoon into tonight too! He cries and cries, then laughs then cries. I'm drained!!!!
Thank God my DH came home and took him out for a while. (hense my opportunity to come on here)
Mikey got his shots on Friday and I'm sure it has something to do with that. I gave him some Tylenol though he doesn't have a fever just in case he is in some type of pain.
Our poor little ones!

Well, I think the problem has been solved. We just have the mother of all poopy diapers over here. I changed her and she conked out for the night. PHEW!

Have you tried her on rice cereal? Our ped said to start rice first. Its easier on their digestive systems. I know you've had trouble with Ava and gas, colic, etc...the cereal could be upsetting her.

She had an allergic reaction to the rice I'll tell ya, this kid is giving me a run for my money!
