aw, DH left me a note this morning...!!
doesnt happen often, and he'd kill me if he knew i told you all what it said...
"summer- i know i dont tell you often enough, but you are my world, and i love you (more than yesterday but less than tomorrow....still). i just wanted to let you know how PROUD i am of you. your dream has become a reality. you are a photographer- not just someone that takes pictures anymore. and i know that i always say how annoying you are, the way you talk about your camera and your shoots, how excited you are when you find new things that you can use in pictures (i never knew flower pots could be so useful!)- but that excitement in your voice- i never heard that when you were off to 'the job'! one day, you wont have to drive off to harlem and wonder if today is the day that the guy will have a gun or a knife, i promise you that.
so thank you for being you and for striving and reaching to be the best- best mom, best wife, best everything...i love you. -g"
ETA- that i am only posting this to show how amazing he is... he quit NYPD to become NASSAU PD...and now with all the talks of lay offs and everything, he may be losing his job, etc etc...and not once does he want to talk about it, he doesnt let him get down, he doesnt show that he is worried about anything (even though i know that inside he is struggling with his decisions that he has made, kicking mimself in the butt probably)...but instead continues to be ultra supportive and loving......
just an amazing person....
