Yes. The track is compatible with all but the take along. Even Brio or Imaginarium.
This set just came out this summer.

We just started with the wooden because it is so expensive and I wanted to wait until he was a little older and would not ruin them.

We have a ton of those metal die cast thomas trains that have magnets so they stick together that we bought off clearance last year.
Does anyone know if those will fit on this track????

do you happen to know if the metal trains work on those tracks?
We startted to buy the take alongs and they all come with the engines that make sounds and the plastic grey tracks.
I just can't waste money if they don't work together.

Take Along Thomas Def do not work with this set. This set is the wooden tracks and only work with the larger trains.
We have tons of the take along but he outgrew them. That is why we started on the larger ones. They are a lot more expensive that is why this is a great deal

Great! Glad to hear it. I looked on Toys R Us' website and that set is $150.00. It is a great deal! I ordered it. Connor's bday is in a few weeks. I also put Woot into my favorites folder.
What kind of site is it actually? It was the strangest easiest checkout I've ever done? LOL! 
How did you find this deal? Were you just looking on the site?

I look at woot and kids woot now everyday. The deal changes every day at 1am. I found out about it through slickdeals.net. I also visit there a million times a day. They find all the great deals and then pass them along

DEF!!! Andrew started with the take along before he was 2 and then went into the wood shortly after. They are very durable so it won't break and they are easy to put together.
It is a really great deal and Thomas never goes out of style. They just started with this type of tech and I think it is going to do ery well IMO.

Sorry I am sooo obsessed with this but I sometimes think I am more into Thomas then DS
Small Fact: One cool feature is that the sensors make noise with the older trains too when they go by. Its a generic noise but at least they work since my son has about 30 trains already that dont have the talking technology.
