B&Bs/Inns in Rhinebeck/Woodstock/Saugerties/Catskills areas?
Looking for a place for a couple of nights.
Something that's not all like floral and old lady'ish. Close to restaurants, shops and bars but also not far from hiking (and maybe kayaking)
Must be upstate, 3 hour drive max (three hours from NYC, not LI). Not open to PA/NJ/CT/MA.
Any recommendations?

Buttermilk Falls Inn is only 1.5-2 hour drive but is amazing. Plenty of choices as far as room size and amenities. Gorgeous spa and farm to table restaurant on property. Breakfast and afternoon tea daily. Amazing views of the river and cute little farm animals to visit. Wineries right down the road. It's amazing.
Years ago I also found a tiny church that was converted into an "inn" and you had the whole place to yourself. Stained glass windows but contemporary decor with a loft bedroom. Believe it was right in Woodstock. Absolutely gorgeous but I can't for the life of me remember the name.

I second Buttermilk Falls Inn. It's beautiful!!

rhinebeck- Old Stone Farm, Olde Rhinebeck Inn
saugerties- The Villa at Saugerties
woodstock- DeForest House, Retreat at TreeGap
others- Ecce Bed and Breakfast, Deer Mountain Inn
