babies r us or buy buy baby?
I went to babies r us and have to say, I dont know what I am having and did not like anything from cribs to strollers. Everything was in that greenish color unless you specifically knew the babies gender which we are not finding out. Did anyone find buy buy baby better? or any other recommendations?

I felt like Buy Buy Baby carried higher quality cribs and strollers -- but I haven't bought or registered for anything yet.

We registered at both. We picked out the stroller and car seats before finding out the sex, and we decided to keep our original choices. But, we found a better selection for these items at BBB, so that is why we registered at both.
For furntiure, we got that at a completely different store.

I registered at BBB since I liked there selection better. We didnt get our furniture from BBB, but I do know that some cribs that BBB carries are also available at Behr's (where I got my furniture).
One thing to keep in mind if you decide to order your furniture from BBB...they charge you 100.oo per item and they dont set up the furntiture.....

We are registered at BRU, but we got our furniture from JCPenny and we loved it and they were cheaper and had a nicer selection.
Not a big fan of BRU in general though lately. For some reason like half the stuff is not currently available.

Not to hijack the thread, but that's important to know. I'm assuming Behr's offers better service? I was planning on looking there, as well.

Behr's charges 100.00 for the entire delivery AND they set up the furniture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did both only because I have family in Staten Island and Brooklyn, where there is no Buy Buy Baby. I like BBB alot better than BRU.
It was kind of annoying to try and split everything up between 2 stores and keep both lists even.

I am registering at both b/c I like BBB's selection of twin items better (well the stroller with matching items in particular), but I feel like most people go to BRU.

we found bbb tro have a nicer selection so we registered at both - there ar emore bru for our out of town family and we liked things at each!

I was wondering this too... BBB help is so much better but BRU has a few more stores... I prefer BBB, but will do a registry at both.

While they don't have much of a selection in stores, they do have a much larger selection online, but sure to check it out while registering. I personally would register at both though.
