Babies r' Us return policy- Spoke to BRU- money backw/ receipt
Many of you probably have this information, but just in case here is the link to their return policy:

I didn't realize that even with a receipt you only get store credit. I thought with a receipt they would give you your money back.
I know people also posted on here about not being able to return a breast pump if it was opened.
I am sorry for any confusion. I just spoke to a man from Babies R's Us and he said if the item is in a box, you have the receipt, and its within 90 days you receive your money back. I was just really confused yesterday when I saw online that you only received store credit. Most stores I go to give money back with a receipt. What a relief!

it kinda sux that they are not more flexible about returns... i've heard the same about target as well...

And you can only return something to the store if they carry it in the store. Like Graco pack and plays, they have to carry that exact pattern to return it. So be careful if you register online b.c you may not be able to return in store.
As for the store credit with a receipt thing, that doesn't surprise me, I've only heard of Bed, Bath and Beyond as giving cash back And you can always use those store credits, at the very least for diapers.

I'm confused. If you purchase something and pay cash for it, you can only get store credit back? Now that doesn't seem right!
ETA: I think that is just for online purchases. Not purchases you originally made at the store. I am trying to remember, but I do believe I have returned items that I have paid cash for and received my money back.

Target has a horrible return policy-you can only return two things a year without a receipt and it if is over $10 you can only get a credit to that department and I believe if it is over $40 and you don't have a receipt they wont even take it back-exchange only.

That is for online returns. If you buy something in the store and have the receipt you get your money back.
I believe the rule about breast pumps is the same everywhere.
