Baby and body parts- What do you do?
I have been very open about talking to Jordana about her body. I don't make up cutesy names for anything (except tushy). I taught her the word "Vagina". But for some reason, I am having issues the word "nipple".
Jordana saw my breasts today and pointed to my nipple and asked what? I didn't know what to say.  I told her its a part of my chest.
What have you guys done about this stuff?

Ive always been pretty open with my girls...
I think this is a good practice to get into b/c as they get older you want them to be able to talk to you about their bodies etc...

Breast just doesn't roll off the tongue as easily as boobies!

Well DS isn't to concerned with what they are just that I need to "clean it" (he thinks they are dirty since they are a darker color ).
I would just tell her the correct name. We give DS all the right names of the all the parts except his behind.

I have a little boy and that has happened - I call it mommy's chest. I just can't go there yet - I am not comfortable. We call his privates a pee pee still.

Me too! But I tell my son that he has pecks. Mommy and his sister have boobies. lol

I would think that boobies covers the whole thing; no need to differentiate with nipples at this point IMO.
